Welcome to Rabid Wolf Designs!!

We are a family owned and operated 3D printing and Design business. We also offer 3D printing services, which means if you have a file you would like printed, we can handle that for you. After we quote materials and production hours, of course. However, if you are interested in having us custom design product(s) or prototype(s) for you, we will gladly meet virtually or in person to learn all about your needs and how we can help. We also create (design/print) our own products as well which we offer in our store.

How did all this get started? Well it all started with a couple conversations between father (Kirk) and son (Joshua). Knowing Joshua was skilled with Fusion 360 and he had a passion for Engineering and 3D printing the pair decided to start a business. There are so many different industries that 3D printing is already utilized in and many more yet to be explored which is part of the excitement for us. We always look forward to new and challenging projects.

Joshua has wanted to be a Robotics Engineer from a young age. He joined First Lego League in elementary school and now as a senior is going into his 4th year of designing and building robots with his team Harrison Robotics 4521 (Boppin’ Bots) for First Robotics Competition (https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/frc). He has already taken 5 years of engineering classes with the Project Lead The Way program (https://www.pltw.org/). He started Project Lead The Way in the eighth grade where he started learning Fusion 360 and does a lot of cad work for his team as well. Through these experiences his love of engineering has continued to grow!

Kirk has been a mechanic all his life. Learning from his Grandfather as a young man. He has a love of rebuilding muscle cars, his favorite being Pontiacs. He spent several years as a crewman in auto racing. In the ARCA series he worked on full tube frame race cars just like those in NASCAR. Then he moved to the IMSA racing series where he worked on Nissan 350Z’s and Porsche 911 RSR’s. As a mechanic he performs typical diagnostics and repairs of automobiles, heavy equipment and agriculture equipment but he really enjoys fabricating and problem solving. This business will allow them to explore endless possibilities to design new products or recreate hard to find or no longer in production components.

The rest of the family, mom (Annette) and brother (Dominic), are the support team! Annette owns her own event planning business (www.ladyhawkevents.com) and is the Director of Chaos for Rabid Wolf Designs. Annette worked as a Engineering Assistant for 13 years before starting her business when the boys were young so that she’d have the flexibility to be a stay at home mom by day. Dominic is an ideas guy, a helping hand, and a positive force. He is interested in being a Wildlife Veterinarian in the future but for now he’s happy to be a part of the family.
